7:30pm, Friday September 4, we’re doing it again! After the success of our first socially distanced ‘Show In A Tiny Bubble’, we’ll be holding our last outdoor event of this year. Since we still can’t safely have performances on our stage or patrons in our auditorium yet, we are extending a tiny bubble from our building onto the sidewalk. We have devised a clever system to have some of your favourite Imperial Theatre performers sing solo from behind plexiglass in a safe little ‘show bubble’.
With Christina Street being closed to allow for more safe foot traffic until the end of September, we will be sectioning off social distancing bubbles on the ground to help spectators stay safe! Please do your part to keep yourselves and each other safe and comfortable while enjoying some long-awaited live entertainment, featuring Broadway Hits, Disney Sing-Alongs and more!
If social distancing becomes tricky at the event, having a mask handy could make you and others feel safer and allow everyone to have the best time that they can! (We will also have masks made available at the event).
There will be limited, spaced out chairs made available, and you are welcome to bring your own.
We will have popcorn, slushies and pop for sale out front as well, served by our masked staff and volunteers! 🥤
